What Material Manager does
Material Manager is the central hub for applying and organizing materials across all LizArk generated geometry. It lets you assign paints, tiles, wood, concrete, glass, and finishes to selected groups, components, faces, or tags, and save reusable material sets so every project starts with the correct palette.
Workflow
- Open Material Manager and choose an application scope: Selection, Group, Component, Tag, or Layer.
- Pick the target geometry or select a tag/layer from the list.
- Browse the material library or import a new texture and adjust color, scale, and opacity.
- Click Apply to update the model, or Save Preset to store the set for future use.
Dialog controls
Material scope - apply materials to the current selection, all instances of a component, everything on a tag, or every face on a layer.
Search and filter - find materials by name, category, or recent use.
Texture settings - adjust image scale, rotation, colorization, and opacity for the selected material.
Presets - save and load palettes for wall finishes, structural concrete, flooring, and roofing.
Tips
Apply materials by tag to update every wall, slab, or structural element of the same type at once.
Use presets to keep corporate or project palettes consistent across multiple models.
For generated components, Material Manager remembers the assignment even after you regenerate the geometry.
