What Corner Window does
Corner Window places a window that wraps around an internal or external corner. The tool cuts matching openings in both wall faces and builds a mitered frame with glazing that follows the corner angle. It works with planar walls and common right-angle corners.
Corner workflow
- Launch the tool and choose a window category and size in the dialog.
- Click the first wall face near the corner. The preview shows the opening extent.
- Click the second wall face to establish the corner set.
- Adjust width, height, sill, and frame offset in the dialog, then click OK to generate.
Placement controls
Use the VCB to type corner leg widths separately: w1 and w2. The total height is shared across both wall faces.
Press TAB to cycle the frame orientation (inside flush, centered, outside flush). The preview updates immediately.
Tips
Both walls should meet cleanly at the corner. Small gaps or non-orthogonal angles may cause the miter to fail.
Corner Window preserves the wall groups and tags the generated assembly with Xpress3D metadata.
If one wall is curved, place a regular Draw Window on each face instead and trim manually.
