What Resize Opening does
Resize Opening changes supported generated doors, windows, ventilators, gates, and panels with native edge and corner grips. The center grip moves a supported opening along its wall. On release, LizArk heals and recuts the host, rebuilds the visual assembly, and refreshes linked skirting or chejja where supported.
Resize workflow
- Select one generated opening, then launch Resize Opening.
- Grab a corner or edge handle and drag to preview the new size.
- Drag the center grip to move the opening while maintaining its normal sill behavior.
- Release the mouse to apply the resize or move.
Controls
Hold Shift or Alt while resizing an edge or corner to resize from the center. Hold Ctrl or Shift while moving the center grip for free movement.
Press Tab to cycle CAD-style dimension fields (width, height, and related values). The large viewport HUD brackets the active field and shows the live typed buffer while you type.
F1-F12 changes a supported parametric window style. F2/F3 cycles ventilator type. F2-F6 selects Indian, Classic, Modern, Contemporary, or Sleek for a selected gate.
Tips
The tool must be able to resolve the generated opening's host wall before it starts.
If the opening has a managed linked chejja, its width can update with the opening when that behavior is enabled.
Avoid sizes larger than the available wall length between neighboring openings or corners.
Use Edit Opening if you also want to change category, material, or swing direction.
