What Tag Manager does
Tag Manager is a utility for managing LizArk selection roles and tags on SketchUp entities. Use it to label walls, doors, windows, openings, trace markers, and chejja with the correct roles so tools and the Generate workflow can recognize and schedule them.
Tagging workflow
- Launch Tag Manager and choose an action: assign role, filter by role, or clear role.
- Select one or more entities in the model.
- Pick the role or tag to apply - for example wall, door, window, ventilator, chejja, trace_door, trace_window.
- Click Apply. The entities are updated immediately and remain selected for verification.
Controls
The dialog lists all known LizArk roles. You can create custom tags, rename existing ones, or remove unused tags from the current model.
Use the filter panel to isolate every entity that shares a role, making it easy to audit or bulk-edit a category.
Tips
Keep trace markers on their dedicated trace roles. Generate 3D skips markers that do not have the expected role.
Do not overwrite internal LizArk roles unless you understand the downstream impact.
Tag Manager is also useful for fixing entities that were exploded or copied from other models and lost their metadata.
